    Job Description


    American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with OR experience and ARRT certification for a night shift weekend contract at a Level 1 trauma facility.

    Responsibilities

    • Hospital-based X-Ray department within a Level 1 trauma center
    • Patient population includes all ages
    • Complex case experience required, including femur and tibia nails, pelvis, and advanced spine imaging
    • 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
    • Saturday, Sunday, and Monday schedule
    • On-call required with a 1-hour response time
    • Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
    • Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
    • All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests submitted after that point will not be approved

    Requirements

    • Active ARRT certification required
    • Active BLS certification required
    • Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) licensure required; pending license acceptable but must be obtained prior to start date
    • Minimum experience in OR, ER, and port procedures required
    • Level 1 trauma experience across all age groups preferred
    • Experience with complex orthopedic and spine imaging cases required
    • 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
    • License required if applicable
