Job Summary
Responsible for supervising receiving department operations including inventory receipt verification processing paperwork comparing receipts with purchase orders checking damaged products concealed shortages following policies procedures ensuring radio frequency guns used during merchandise reception maintaining accurate accurate receiving paperwork separating pallets verifying correct selling non-selling locations supervising receivers clerks acting mentor to team members in receiving inventory control reporting issues management communicating logistics coordinating delivery schedules completing self-audit daily reports securing doors properly checking visitors vendors inspecting bags backpacks briefcases lunch boxes bags assigning truck door locations ensuring drivers outside trucks while unloading securing trucks on dock empty departing sealed trailers verifying seal integrity monitoring high shrink merchandise removing secured equipment operating compactor cardboard baler performing duties assigned working other departments needed regular predictable full attendance essential function this role.
