Summary:
The Physician Clinic Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care and is accountable to the policies and procedures of the organization.
The Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse will assist with the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating of patient care in the clinic practice setting.
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the direction and assignment of nursing interventions that may be performed by others.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care and is accountable to the policies and procedures of the organization.
Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing OR Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
GED or High School Diploma preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or temporary permit from the State of Nebraska OR Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or temporary from the State of Nebraska OR Current Medical Assistant certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within one full month from date of hire required.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous clinical experience preferred.
SKILLS:
Language Skills - Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.
Computer Skills - Ability to use computers and related technology efficiently required.
Customer Service required.
Time Management - Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently required.
Interpersonal Skills - Ability to socially interact and communicate with others in a positive and professional manner required.
KNOWLEDGE:
Patient rights, safety practices, infection control practices and risk management principles required.
Other Certifications/Requirements:
Current, valid driver's license issued in the state of legal residence required.
