    Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an

    Engineering Manager 3 .

    This position is located in

    Roy, UT

    and supports the SDS Division.
    This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
    What You'll Get To Do

    The ideal candidate is capable of creating and managing high performing teams while providing technical, administrative and management expertise in the day to day activities required to successfully execute complex engineering programs.

    Specific work scope includes but is not limited to:
    Program technical execution within cost and schedule constraints
    US Government customer and executive program management interface and reporting
    Setting objectives, monitoring, and reviewing yearly progress
    Development and maintenance of program execution metrics
    Risk-mitigation planning and execution
    Earned value management
    Management and guidance of mechanical and other discipline engineers
    Workload management and coordination with functional homeroom resources
    Management of design and fabrication subcontracts
    Program execution staffing in coordination with the hiring team
    Technical direction, guidance, and mentoring of project team members
    Working programs, proposals, or internally-funded activities in a technical or leadership role

    This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
    Job Qualifications
    You'll Bring These Qualifications
    Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field of study from an accredited university or 4 additional years of experience and 8 years of relevant experience, 6 years with a Masters, and 3 years with a PhD
    Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/management position
    Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
    Must be eligible to obtain Special Program Access, PAR, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
    3 years of technical leadership experience, engineering management, and/or program management experience of high value and visibility projects
    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have
    Active DoD Secret security clearance
    Experience in relevant technology areas
    Technical leadership experience; direction and mentoring to other technical employees
    Control Account Manager (CAM) Earned Value Measurement System experience

    Salary Range:
    $141,900 - $212,900

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

    In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
