Atrium Health Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates-Cabarrus is actively recruiting a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.100% adult medicine
~Service provides 24/7 coverage with shift-based model to a 54 bed ICU consisting of a mixed patient population of medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients. Shifts are 13 hours long and include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts are rotated equally among staff.
~ Established practice of 13 physicians and 6 APPs with whom to work and partner.
Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. BLS/ACLS for healthcare provider from AHA required.
Nurse practitioners are required to have a Master's Degree or Post Master's Certificate in Acute Care
NP/PA or RN experience in ICU required
Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
Must speak English fluently and in understandable terms. Must have the ability to react and perform in stressful situations.Eligible for prescriptive authority application through the Board of Nursing or Medical Board in SC required. BLS required per policy guidelines; Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required; Both Concord and Cabarrus County boasts excellent public and private schools.
