• Prepare and serve drinks.
• Collect money for drinks/food served.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
• Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Balance cash receipts.
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar.
• Adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations.
• Maintain, stock, cut and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables.
• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks.
• Input orders into the point of sale system and create checks for each guest.
• Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items.
• Deposits cash drops and secure bank.
• Maintain a clean workspace.
• Have complete knowledge of drink (cocktail) recipes.
• Prepare specialty drink requests.

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred.
• Bartending experience.
• Must work well with or without direct supervision.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules to include weekends and holidays.
• Food Handling, CPR, First Aid certificates are preferred.
• Must attend the hotels Alcohol Awareness training program.
• Must be able to legally prove age of at least 21 years.
