    VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES

    The Vice President, Human Resources (VPHR) is responsible for leading and overseeing the human resources function in the company. They are responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and leadership. The VPHR supports the leadership team, and company as a whole, providing a safe, highly productive working environment to increase organizational health and effectiveness, and profits.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Collaborates with executive leadership to achieve the organization's long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through traditional HR modalities, as well as

    · Support CEO in strategic objectives surrounding talent acquisition & retention.

    · Identifies key performance indicators for management functions; assesses the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.

    · Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.

    · Provides guidance and leadership to the human resource management team in all areas relevant to HR, including labor, benefits & union relations.

    · Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.

    · Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law.

    · Drafts and implements the organization's staffing budget, and the budget for the human resource department.

    · Provide coaching and mentoring to leaders to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

    · Champion and demonstrate Company core values.

    Required Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree business administration, or a related field


    • At least 5+ years of senior HR leadership experience in multi-plant, multi-region, complex heavy manufacturing environment: $2B+ revenue


    • Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.


    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.


    • Proficiency in financial analysis, budget management, and performance metrics tracking


    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environment, with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.

    ROSEBURG FOREST PRODUCTS is a privately held forest products company manufacturing lumber, plywood, MDF & LVL. At $2.5B in revenue, Roseburg owns and manages 600,000 acres of timberland on the PNW and SE.
