Strong analytical skills, ability to propose resolutions to problems
Ability to work with limited supervision
Have strong working knowledge of accounting theories and practices and the ability to understand the relationship between operational processes and accounting impacts
Must stay current on accounting practices – Must attend a minimum of 6 CPE classes per year
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of employees throughout all levels of the organization
Team player and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter
Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong to Advanced Excel skills
Responsibilities

Responsible for a variety of general accounting duties
Own the allocation of expenses to business units
Perform mass uploads of data from subsystems to the general ledger
Manage the preparation and posting of journal entries
Compile and analyze schedules for internal purposes and financial audits
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, research variances and determine appropriate resolution
Respond to and resolve all internal and external inquiries in a timely manner
Ensure business controls are followed and operating as designed
Other finance/accounting responsibilities will be assigned as needed
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $ $45.00 Per

Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance

Knowledge of Great Plains or SAP preferred
CPA preferred
