    The Role


    The Sales Account Manager directly generates revenue by selling solutions to new and current clients within an assigned territory through face-to-face contact.

    Assists management in devising sales plans and strategies.

    The ideal candidate will be tenacious and proficient at developing long term relationships that grow year over year, will always be prepared to act as a consultant and resource to customers and a strong networker with creativity and marketing flair.

    Job does require some level of travel.


    Accountabilities:
    Develop self-generated leads through networking, data mining (from existing client records) and referral generation from previous clients.

    Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistent messaging to customers and help them gather voice of the customer information when needed.

    Increase revenue from existing customers and generate additional revenue from new customers. regarding HVAC and plumbing needs, using proper sales techniques, problem solving skills and account management.
    Identify, qualify and close new preventative maintenance business opportunities.
    Create sales proposals that are accurate and complete, that can easily be transferred to the installation team.
    Answer equipment related questions such as: operations, features, and functions.
    Perform required documentation for each installation and have each client sign necessary paperwork, and collect payments as directed.
    Utilize job site walks to acquire system information.
    Through commitment, high standards, persistence and drive, meet or exceed yearly sales revenue and margin goals.
    Qualifications


    Skills:
    Excellent track record in developing territory management to ensure market saturation and profitability, including sales strategies.
    Experience with developing written proposals; delivering oral presentations to customers and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
    Proficiency with sales management tracking databases.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,).
    Experience utilizing social media in a commercial capacity.
    Knowledge of and ability to use CRM tools.
    Must be able to build relationships and work well across functions.
    Education and Experience

    Minimum of 3 years of successful High-volume, business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
    Commercial HVAC and plumbing industry experience is a plus.
    Bachelor's degree in business, advertising, marketing or mechanical engineering is a plus.
    Clean driving record and valid driver's license; must have reliable transportation.

    Physical Requirements


    Physical activity not limited to walking, bending, kneeling/crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 30 lbs., sitting, standing periods of time and driving.
