Job Description:
The phlebotomist is responsible for the collection and processing of laboratory specimens and performing waived tests. A Phlebotomist is also responsible
Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records. Clinical duties may include preparing patients for examination and drawing blood.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Prefer computer classes / experience
Prefer medical terminology
Prefer clinical experience in a hospital setting
Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration
Phlebotomy certificate is preferred
