    Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation seeks a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our In-Patient/Out-Patient Non-Invasive Cardiology Department. Our nurse leaders are true role models, inspiring others with their strong combination of clinical skills, management abilities, and integrity.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assess, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular issues in outpatient and inpatient settings, including acute coronary syndrome, chest pain, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular disease, peripheral artery disease, aortic aneurysm, and venous thromboembolism/pulmonary embolism.
    • Collaborate with physicians to provide patient care.
    • Order diagnostic studies, tests, labs, and review pertinent labs/studies (EKG, remote telemonitoring, echocardiograms, stress tests, vascular studies).
    • Educate patients on diagnosis, medications, and dietary restrictions related to cardiovascular disease.
    • Communicate with other specialties regarding patient care.
    • Perform and supervise stress echoes in the office.

    Requirements:

    • Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the Board of Registered Nursing.
    • MSN Degree Required.
    • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State of California.
    • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate or eligible to obtain.
    • National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioner.
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

    Experience: A minimum of one year as a Nurse Practitioner is required, with three years of experience preferred.

    This is a 4/10s role, working between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends or operating room duty.
