    Responsibilities

    Implement a health, environmental and safety structure for Exotec's North American region, ensuring compliance to these standards.
    Enforce policies to establish a health and safety culture and ensure adherence and consistency to these policies.
    Evaluate practices, procedures and equipment to measure risk and compliance.

    Identify training needs and prepare, in conjunction with internal the Training team, learning modules on health, safety and accident prevention.

    Recommend solutions, improvements and/or prevention measures.
    Keep abreast of any updates to regulations and disseminate these changes to necessary teams.
    Support other locations in accident prevention and safety-related initiatives.
    Report on KPIs of health and safety awareness, issues and statistics.

    Requirements
    Similar experience in a worksite and occupational safety role, ideally at least 5 years
    Experience looking after health and safety for multiple site locations.
    In-depth OSHA knowledge and a strong understanding of other national, state and local regulations (certification highly preferred)
    Flexibility with up to 60% regular travel
    A solutions-oriented approach to problems
    A high level of autonomy
    Transparent communication skills and an ability to collaborate with multi-cultural teams across international locations
