    Responsibilities Peraton is seeking Senior ETL Engineer with Cloud experience to support our classified customer in Chantilly, VA
    Peraton has been supporting our classified customer for 20 years and has a history of supporting building some of the most important & technically advanced applications
    The ideal candidate shall posses experience with the following technologies: Informatica, Oracle, PL\SQL, and Java
    Technology is constantly evolving, and our adversaries are exceeding law enforcement's ability to keep pace in the cyber space
    Those charged with protecting the United States are not always able to access the evidence needed to prosecute crime and prevent terrorism
    Our unique program delivers advanced, technical infrastructure support for our customer and its relative nodes over the world
    The team provides Software and System Engineering, Software and System Development and Operations (DevOps) services, Data Science, Big Data and Entity Resolution Engineering services advanced data discovery, analytics, exploitation, and visualization capabilities through application development and tools integration
    The Senior ETL Engineer - Cloud will be responsible for but not limited to:

    • Perform SQL and PL/SQL development, including design and maintenance of back-end ETL processes utilizing Informatica workflow, custom PL/SQL and SQL scripts.
    • Build and maintain database schemas.
    • Install, configure, maintain and upgrade ETL software, repositories, and pipelines.
    • Develop and maintain Python code and shell Scripts in on-premises and cloud environments.
    • Maintain, optimize, and tune Oracle and DB2 database scripts.
    • Perform data mining and performance tuning for large-scale datasets.
    • Use ETL tools, BI tools, IBM MQ, SQL Loader.
    • Perform data extracts, data purges, or data fixes in accordance with internal procedures and policies.
    • Complete problem tickets, documenting bug fixes, design modifications, and changes based on customer requirements.
      This role is required to provide onsite support Mon-Fri Qualifications Required Qualifications
    • Active/Current Top-Secret Clearance
    • Bachelor's degree with eight (8+) years of relevant experience; master's degree with six (6+) years of experience PhD with three (3+) years of experience.
    • At least six (6+) years' experience with PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle DBMS, XML, XSLT, Python, web services, SVN, RCS, Git, OLS Security, JIRA, Oracle 11g/12c, Sun Solaris OS, Linux (CentOS, Red Hat), and Windows.
    • At least three (3+) years of experience with PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle 11g and 12c, XML, XSLT, Linux (CentOS, Red Hat), shell scripting, and Windows.
    • At least two (2+) yearsofexperience usingETL tools to perform data cleansing, data profiling, transforming, queuing, migrating, and scheduling various workflows.
    • Demonstrate a proficiency in the Python programming language.
    • Experience with Data application development and version control systems such as Git.
    • Hands on experience with AWS cloud technologies like EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, IAM, S3, RDS, ElasticCache, SNS, SQS and SWF

    Benefits:

    Target Salary Range $146,000 - $234,000
    This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors
