    Job Title: Maintenance Director

    Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee all aspects of our maintenance department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of maintenance leadership experience, preferably within the plastics manufacturing industry. The Maintenance Director will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies to ensure optimal functionality of all equipment and facilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute maintenance plans, policies, and procedures to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
    • Lead a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
    • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of preventive maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to production schedules.
    • Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting and cost control measures.
    • Evaluate equipment performance and reliability, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
    • Implement best practices for equipment maintenance and reliability, including the use of predictive and preventive maintenance technologies.
    • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations related to maintenance activities.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to support maintenance activities and procurement of spare parts and supplies.
    • Participate in strategic planning initiatives to support the company's growth and expansion goals.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance leadership roles, preferably in the plastics manufacturing industry.
    • Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of maintenance professionals.
    • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to equipment maintenance and safety.
    • Experience managing maintenance budgets and controlling costs.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
    • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with plastics manufacturing equipment and processes.
    • Professional certifications in maintenance management or related field.
