    Job Title: Advanced Practice Pharmacy Technician at MHealth Fairview


    Overview:
    Are you an Advanced Practice Pharmacy Technician? MHealth Fairview is seeking an individual to join our team at the East Bank location. This role involves preparing doses under pharmacist supervision, delivering medications to patient care units, and collaborating with healthcare team members. You will have the chance to learn basic production and IV compounding in a fast-paced environment.


    Responsibilities/Job Description:
    • Prepare, label, and deliver medications accurately and safely under pharmacist supervision.
    • Deliver medications and supplies to patient care areas.
    • Process medication orders and maintain patient profiles in pharmacy systems.
    • Utilize automated medication stations, handle inventory tasks, and conduct maintenance.
    • Audit medication storage areas for accuracy.
    • Assist in processing returns and outdated drugs.
    • Manage controlled substances inventory accurately.
    • Effectively manage time, tasks, and information.
    • Provide guidance to co-workers.
    • Respond to incoming phone calls and emails.
    • Ensure compliance with proficiencies within the department.


    Qualifications:

    Required:
    • Completion of an accredited ASHP/ACPE Pharmacy Technician Training Program or six months of pharmacy technician experience.
    • Current registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
    • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification.

    • Ability to follow policies and procedures.
    • Basic math and typing skills.
