    About the Role

    Join the iCrossing team as a Senior Back End Engineer where you will contribute to the development and upkeep of large-scale Java and microservices infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute significantly to the creation of digital experiences through cutting-edge technology and your expertise in Java software development.
    • Play a crucial role in an application development project team, collaborating with onshore and offshore developers using Scrum methodologies.
    • Write Java code for high-impact marketing and eCommerce websites.
    • Ensure prompt completion of coding tasks, deliverables, and provide comprehensive system-level documentation.
    • Partner with Technical Managers to estimate tasks, maintain deliverable quality, and keep stakeholders informed.
    • Engage in all Scrum processes, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint Retrospectives.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in constructing websites, APIs, or microservices.
    • Demonstrated creativity and proficiency in developing top-tier software applications in Java, utilizing various open-source Java frameworks, particularly the Spring framework.
    • Experience in Java coding for interaction with SQL or NoSQL databases.
    • Expertise in building custom components on a CMS platform.
    • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS.
    • Hands-on experience with AEM versions 6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service.
    • Experience in managing websites and launching localized sites using AEM Multi Site Manager.
    • Proficiency in integrating APIs with AEM.

    Preferred Experience

    • Developed and troubleshot RESTful services down to the HTTP protocol level.
    • Created OSGI components, services, servlets, and custom workflows.
    • Worked with Cloud Web Services like AWS API Gateway, Cognito, RDS, and DynamoDB or similar platforms.
    • Understanding of Continuous Integration technologies and deployment frameworks such as Maven, Docker, Jenkins.
