    Powder is a year-round resort and real estate development project nestled throughout 10,000 acres in the Wasatch Mountains of Northern Utah.     Under supervision of the IT management, the IT Field Technician I is primarily responsible for the management and

    installation of network and system infrastructure of Powder Mountain resort. Focus areas are ski lift gates, kiosks,

    weather stations, repeaters, Wi-Fi access points, point-to-point radios, point-of-sale systems, etc. The Field Technician I

    also helps with tier 1 help desk support, and assists with technical support of computers, hardware, software, phones,

    printers, and network connectivity.

    • Maintain and install network and system infrastructure components associated to all resort operations.
    • Responsible for technical support of computers, hardware, software, phones, printers and network connectivity.
    • Be responsive and supportive to the staff for all technical related needs.
    • Flexible to work after hours, weekends and holidays.
    • Efficient communication with IT management and coordinate well with mountain operation teams.
    • Oversee, maintain, and operate all audio/video equipment.
    • Report problems and suggest necessary upgrades to management.
    • Keep inventory clean, logged and organized.
    • Setup and take down of AV equipment for events, presentations, performances etc.
    • Work alongside other IT employees and assist with support, management, and deployment of equipment.
    Requirements
    • 1-2 years' experience working help desk support.
    • 1-2 years' experience with Microsoft Office O365.
    • A+, Network+, Security+ or other base-level IT certifications.
    • Understanding of IT industry practices and concepts.
    • Proficient with both Windows and Mac operating systems.
    • Experienced with computer hardware repair and upgrades.
    • Basic understanding of VoIP systems and devices.
    • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, snow, wind, and rain, on varied snow surfaces.
    • Must have a positive attitude and work well in a team-oriented environment.
    • Available to work after hours, weekends and holidays.
    • Ability to Lift Moderately Heavy Objects up to 50 pounds.
    • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, hand, and power tools, and to handle other computer components.
    • Travel among company buildings and locations.
