Job Summary:

• Provide safe and direct nursing care to patients with various needs.
• Be a clinical leader and serve as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care.
• Assist with special tests and procedures, ensure proper consent has been obtained.
• Administer medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights; document and communicate clinical findings.
• Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license.
• BLS certification required with a goal of obtaining PALS, TNCC and/or ENPC.
• Physical requirements include exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
• Must be able to work with chemicals and bio-hazardous materials while wearing proper PPE.
