The role of the Pharmacy Data Analyst entails the identification, extraction, organization, storage, analysis, reporting, and modeling of data to support pharmacy programs and pharmacy benefit manager vendor management.
The main emphasis of the Pharmacy Data Analyst is to validate reporting data and improve data processes related to various pharmacy processes and initiatives.

Compensation
\$\$80,720 - \$96,000 annually

The hourly range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid.

Respond to analytical reporting requests to create meaningful reports that result in actionable insights impacting critical strategic issues and help navigate process improvements and decisions
Design and maintain an effective approach for finding valuable insights from large, rich datasets from both external and internal sources
Investigate and discover areas of opportunity for improvement of pharmacy programs and trends and will use this information to evaluate program effectiveness
Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
Extend company data with third party sources of information as needed
Organize and maintain databases with data joined across multiple sources
Reconcile interactions and various data sources to make sure the information displayed is accurate and valid
Create and maintain databases utilized to develop reporting and visualizations to support data-driven decision making by division leaders
Provide actionable overall pharmacy data insights to address key strategic questions
Track, report, and analyze the performance of departmental and divisional activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of reports
What you need
Bachelors degree in technology, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, risk management, economics, or related field.
Minimum three years in a health care related financing and delivery system of traditional or managed care environment, or three years in a technology, statistics, actuarial science, applied mathematics, financial economics, data structures and system applications or system mainframe applications in a DB2 environment.
Bonus if you haveExperience with and an understanding of data warehouse, data extraction tools,
and analyt cs software and methods
Experience with or exposure to health care claims
