    Description


    Are you an experienced geotechnical engineer looking for your next challenge? Look no further We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in the role of Principal Geotechnical Engineer.

    Our client is a well-established engineering firm located in Charleston SC.

    As their new principal geotechnical engineer, you will play an integral part in leading and developing their growing business while working on exciting projects across multiple sectors.


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead project teams through all phases from proposal development to final completion
    • Develop relationships with clients by providing excellent service and support
    • Assist with business development activities such as marketing proposals and presentations
    • Provide technical guidance on complex design issues
    • Mentor junior staff members

    Qualifications:
    The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Geotechnology.
    • Minimum 10 years experience performing similar duties.
    • Possess Professional Engineer (PE) License required

    Skills Required:
    In addition to meeting the above qualifications, candidates must demonstrate proficiency within these skill areas:


    • Business Development - Demonstrated success building strong customer relationships resulting into growth opportunities,
    • Leadership Skills- Proven ability motivating others towards achieving established goals;
    • Technology Savvy - Proficiency using software applications used at work;
