We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a fast-growing manufacturing facility This highly innovative company is expected togrow production significantly in the next 3 years, and your electrical expertise will be essential to ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment.

Schedule:
Full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 6 am to 4 pm, no nights/weekends
Located in the greater Madison, WI area

Responsibilities:
Lead small/midsized facility electrical projects and assist in the electrical installation
Participate in the planning and technical development of projects
Assist the maintenance team in improving the uptime of production equipment/processes
Help to develop, verify, and update Lock Out Tag Out procedures
Inspect production equipment/facility electrical systems, and develop corrective actions
Respond rapidly to electrical safety concerns/incidents
Inspect production processes and develop ways to make them more efficient
Conduct work safety and assist with training: Safety, NFPA 70E, Forklift safety, SQF
Maintain accurate records of completed work
Adhere to all PPE and GMP requirements
Qualifications:
High school degree required, bachelor's or associate's degree preferred
A valid Wisconsin journeyman or master electrician license is required
3-5 years of maintenance electrical experience in a manufacturing setting
Low and high-voltage electrical experience
A good understanding of electrical safety requirements and the ability to mentor others
Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and installation
Understanding of SQF practices (safe, quality foods)
Experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment is desired
