Job summary
The Referral Coordinator is responsible for assisting PartnerMD patients by obtaining necessary insurance carrier authorization for specialty care services, scheduling appointments, and follow up reporting for all referrals to outside specialists and services,
Obtain proper authorization and approval for services and specialty visits in accordance with insurance guidelines
Maintain a tracking system and follow up on obtaining reports for all outside referrals
Maintain communication with patients and clinical staff throughout the referral process.
