- Research, design, and development of computer software systems, including requirement analysis, design, development, and test of software products.

- Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience, a Master's Degree with 6 years of experience or a PhD with 3 years of experience. Equivalent years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Experience with designing and developing software for Satellite Mission Management or TT&C applications utilizing Java/C/C++
- Software development methodologies and life cycles; specifications, design, implementation, and testing.
- Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, FishEye/Crucible, BitBucket, etc.)
- Development of Unit Tests to get code coverage to above 90%
- Experience with Linux, preferably RHEL 8.x, 9.x, and Ansible tool suite.
- Familiarity with the Agile Product Development Cycle
- Familiarity with the CI/CD practices and DevSecOps processes.
- Active/Current Security Clearance.
- Experience creating and executing Ansible Playbooks.
- Experience with the Amazon Web Services cloud architecture and tools associated with cloud development and security.
- Active involvement in the peer-review process, to include providing thorough code reviews and receiving critical feedback.
- Client-side development using HTML5, JavaScript, Python, and CSS3.
- Experience with Server-side development through REST
- Working knowledge of gRPC endpoints and NATS for micro-service communication as well as containerization.
