    Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. is a team of mental health professionals that specialize in psychiatric evaluations, clinical social work, and family therapy. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems. Founded in 1991, we offer an intensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment program, psychological testing, and behavioral health and medication management services.

    We are seeking to hire a Full-Time Adult Day Treatment Group Therapist at our Otsego, MN clinic who would be providing services within the Adult Day Treatment program. This role will split time as an ADT Group Therapist and an individual Outpatient Therapist.

    ADT (Adult Day Treatment): The purpose of the program is to offer an intensive group psychotherapy experience for client to help reduce the effects of mental illness and provide skills training to empower clients to live in the community independently.

    Job Duties Include:
    • Facilitating (and/or co-facilitating depending upon size) the ADT groups, including crisis management services as needed
    • Completing Progress Notes for each client attending ADT sessions under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional
    • Completing Individual Treatment Plans under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional
    • Completion of a Functional Assessment under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional
    • Completion of a LOCUS under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional
    • Completing the Discharge Plan with the client under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional
    • Completing the Discharge Summary paperwork under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional
    • Providing oversight to clients during breaks as needed
    • Contacting clients who no showed for group
    • Consulting with ADT Supervisor when situations are outside one's competency area
    • Attending clinical staff meetings
    • Consulting and/or updating outside providers regarding client's status or progress
    • Working in collaboration with other Adjunct Facilitators
    • Completing all paperwork in a timely fashion
    • Completion of referrals to other NAL programs and care coordination
    • Update MN Mental Health Access Website on a weekly basis
    • Additional tasks may be specified by the ADT Supervisor/ADT Program Director.
    Group Schedule:

    Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00am - 12:00pm

    Requirements

    Must meet qualifications of one of the following:
    1. Mental Health Professional per MN State Statute 245i.04 subdivision 2 -Licensed as an LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, or LP in Minnesota
    2. Clinical Trainee per MN State Statute 245i.04 subdivision 6 -Graduated from a behavioral science masters or doctorate program and eligible to pursue your MN LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, or LP
