Currently seeking for a Test Lab Technician to join our Shreveport, LA location.

Responsibilities of the Test Lab Technician include, but are not limited to:

Assembly and installation of API compliant centrifugal pumps on test stand
Flexible and rigid joint pipe assembly up to 36" diameter
Connection of ANSI class 150# - 2500# flanges
Mechanical shaft alignment via optical laser alignment tool
Electric motor power connections up to 6600V
API mechanical seal flush plan installation
Handling and installation of small electronic sensors and equipment
Daily operation of flow control valves (butterfly, gate, globe)
Routine cleaning and maintenance of shop, tools, and equipment
Daily overhead crane operation
Daily heavy equipment operation

Qualifications of the Test Lab Technician include, but are not limited to:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in the oil and gas industry
Possesses a skill set in fabrication including oxygen/acetylene cutting, MIG and Arc welding
Has expereince in hydroblasting, testing different fluid pressures with pumps, centrifugal pumps, motors, and rotors.
Has some assembly mechanic expereince working with pumps, centrifugal pumps, rotors, and motors.
Is capable of operating overhead cranes/heavy machinery
Has experience with mechanical shaft alignment
Has experience with electrical wiring/controls

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Lift up to 50 lbs

Working Conditions: Shop environment

Training/Certifications: N/A

Shift Time/Overtime: Standard hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm/ Overtime and some weekends as needed.

Travel: N/A

Education: High School Diploma or GED
