    Gate Clerk - Inspector

    Responsibilities

    Gate Clerk - Inspector

  • Performs inspections on all inbound and outbound intermodal units using an automated computerized gate system and/or handheld device.
  • Notes the conditions of trailers, chassis, or containers after inspection.
  • Control access onto facilities.
  • Maintains assigned equipment & ensures work area is clean and orderly.
  • Performs work in accordance with established safety & quality management procedure

    Qualifications

    Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Computer Literacy
  • Availability to work 1st shift 9:00am-5:00pm (Holidays, & Weekends)
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Highly organized and flexible
  • Detail oriented and ability to work in fast paced environment.
