    Job Description

    We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as an Asset Protection Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing teams, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, controlling unexplained loss of merchandise, and improving profitability.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset protection, leadership, and customer service. They will be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates, utilize technology and business initiatives, and implement company direction.

    The Asset Protection Specialist will also be responsible for:

    • Ensuring accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, inventory levels, cleanliness of the area, and setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays.
    • Overseeing the stocking and rotation of merchandise, securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise, and identifying and communicating performance goals and objectives.
    • Leading and developing teams by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback, and introducing and leading company change efforts.
    • Modeling and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
    • Providing supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, hiring, training, and mentoring of associates, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.
    • Controlling the unexplained loss of merchandise and improving profitability by identifying and communicating performance goals and objectives, measuring adherence to loss prevention policies and procedures, reviewing variances to inventory reports, conducting operational and pre-inventory reviews, gathering data, auditing results, monitoring deficiency trends, and identifying improvement opportunities and communicating and working with managers and associates to determine corrections needed to inventory controls.
    • Detecting, deterring, investigating, and resolving violations of company policies and criminal activities by investigating alleged fraud and other alleged illegal activities, conducting investigations relating to company operations and policies, gathering evidence, taking statements, writing case reports, and providing court room testimony as needed.
    • Partnering in collaborative efforts with other investigative entities, monitoring safety and risk controls within a facility by ensuring an effective safety program is in place, supervising safety team members, identifying accident trends to develop and implement solutions to prevent accidents, observing workplace practices and providing training to associates on accident prevention techniques, communicating plans to minimize accidents, overseeing safety reviews and implementing plans to improve workplace safety, and managing facility-level training and execution of asset protection, safety, and claims and receiving procedures.

    Benefits

    We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000.00-$80,000.00, plus differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Other benefits include:
