Our company supports the growth and future of the Aerospace industry. We're seeking to add to our 3rd Shift Paint Assistant I position to contribute to our advancement.

Shift Schedule:

1st shift: 6:45am - 3:00pm

2nd Shift: 2:45pm - 11:00pm

3rd Shift: 10:45pm - 7:00am

Position Overview:

The Paint Assistant I is responsible for preparing, racking, and assisting painters. You will learn practical experience, knowledge, and capabilities of performing paint prep processes and applicable inspection and testing methods. All paint assistant processes will be performed in accordance to customer specifications and requirements. Work will be done under close supervision.

Skills:

• Learning practical painting processes and procedures

• Part prepping, including cleaning and racking of parts

• Identify racking or boarding method per part configuration; this will include various sizes,
lengths, shapes, and weights

• Count and record number of pieces being racked or boarded

• Fill out paperwork correctly for work done

• Adheres to company policies, quality procedures and safety standards

• Gain basic knowledge and use of inspection tools (i.e., micrometers, dual scope)

Working Conditions:

• PPE (glasses and hearing protection will be worn at all times)
• The noise level in the work environment is occasionally moderate decibels.
• Occasionally works in hazardous conditions.
• Occasionally working in high or low temperatures
