    Job DescriptionVP, People,Manufacturing Operations & Manufacturing EngineeringIndianapolis, INAs the VP, People, Manufacturing Operations & Manufacturing Engineering your responsibilities will include supporting the manufacturing business leadership teams, coaching leadership teams, and providing effective employee relations advice.

    Additionally, you will utilize your experience working with labor unions and negotiating labor contracts. This role requires travel to domestic and international locations 25-30% of the time.

    Key Accountabilities:
    Support the manufacturing business leadership teams in setting the medium-term strategy and business plan, bringing HR insights to the process to both the professional and unionized workforceIn addition will be a key member of the global manufacturing leadership team with accountability for people strategy and plansCoach the business leadership teams in handling sensitive or complex HR issues and in their own personal development including meeting Rolls-Royce leadership expectationsProvide effective employee relations advice given the context the business area is working in while maintaining a positive employee relations environment across the assigned populationBring challenge and perspective to the business agenda, particularly ensuring the development of the talent, performance enablement, leadership, and D&I agendas for the businessesAccountability for the local deployment of company HR processes, projects and identified change programs and manage local projects and may also be involved in managing global projects across the Defense HR team

    Basic Requirements:

    Associate's degree with 10+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience in Human Resources, ORBachelor's degree with 8+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience in Human Resources, ORMaster's degree with 6+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience in Human Resources, ORJD/PhD, OR12+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience in Human Resources in lieu of a degreeTo be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S.

    Citizen or U.S.

    Permanent ResidentExperience working with labor unions and negotiating labor contractsPreferred Requirements:
    Master's degree in business or human resources and experience using Organization Development to enhance business/organizational performance.

    Prior experience with business acquisition and integration, partnerships, process alignment and change management and experience of operating within an HR Shared Service delivery model.

    Prior experience working with leadership across a multi-site operation.
    Workday experienceExperience managing employee relations cases, talent development and enabling culture change including driving diversity and inclusion.
    Experience working with a global team and / or in a highly matrixed environment.
