Job Title

Sterile Processing Technician

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at UC Medical Center.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sterilization procedures, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process surgical instruments for sterilization
Operate and maintain autoclaves and other equipment
Ensure accurate and efficient processing of instrumentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet departmental goals

Requirements:

AHA BLS certification
CRCST or CBSPD certification
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience in sterile processing or related field

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week
5 8-hour shifts
Every other weekend and holiday required
