    Description
    We're seeking a skilled individual to oversee our Payroll and Labor Distribution procedures at our Washington, DC location. This role entails on-site presence three days a week to manage employee payrolls and timesheets.

    Ideal candidates will boast a minimum of 8 years of experience in Payroll and Accounting, ideally complemented by a degree in Accounting or an earned CPP certification.

    This position falls under the union umbrella, offering attractive benefits such as a pension plan and competitive compensation. Our organization prides itself on its low turnover rate. Proficiency with

    Responsibilities

    Set up new employees in the system
    Prepare and submit payroll for roughly 200 teammates bi-weekly
    Update timesheet codes
    Responsible for timesheet collection and review of timesheets for accuracy
    Labor distribution, fringe benefits and accrued leave allocation
    Review tax returns, quarterly and year end
    Reconcile general ledger accounts
