- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related field
- Experience: 3 years' experience in healthcare performance improvement, project management or other advanced position
- Licensure/Certifications: Current state license as a registered nurse required.
- Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Demonstrate leadership competencies, as well as clinical experience, performance improvement skills, the ability to facilitate groups with many different stakeholders and coordinate complex ministry wide projects.
- Ability to grasp abstract concepts, think creatively, and design new and original systems and programs
- Proven ability to promote teamwork, build effective working relationships and lead teams and workgroups.
- High level of problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to manage, interpret and present data
- Must be self-motivated. Given appropriate direction for goals, must be able to work autonomously in a sometimes ambiguous and changing environment as well as work as a team member or team leader on complex projects.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Manager Nursing Quality & Excellence is responsible to advance organizational nursing priorities aligned with the nursing strategy and clinical excellence plan by supporting clinically focused ministry wide nursing improvement endeavors.
