    Position/Title: Job Cost Accountant
    Reports to: Senior Accounting Manager
    Start Date: Immediately
    Location: Birmingham, AL

    Responsibilities Include:
    • Record and reconcile financial information.
    • Review and post accounts payables and accounts receivable batches.
    • Reconcile bank statements.
    • Process monthly journal entries accordingly.
    • Review general ledger for accuracy prior to month-end close.
    • Produce monthly reporting packages for each client's properties on your team.
    • Prepare owner or lender funding requests.
    • Work closely with Project Managers regarding questions on developments.
    • Assist management with special projects when requested.
    Experience, Skills & Requirements:
    • College degree required, plus a minimum of 2+ years' accounting experience.
    • Sage experience preferred.
    • Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
    • Good foundation of basic accounting principles.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
    • Ability to meet deadlines.
    • Professional communication skills.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing work environment
