    We are seeking a hands-on Plant Controller to support the location management team and corporate requirements related to financial close, cost accounting, reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, safeguarding assets and supervising support staff.

    Plant Controller- Reports to Corporate CFOLocation: Brooksville, FLSupervisory Duties- Will have 4 Direct Reports (General Accountant, Cost Accountant, A/R, and A/P)

    What a Day Looks Like:

    Business partner to location management including analyzing results, explaining business trends, determining customer and product line profitability, recommending improvements and other support where neededManage inventory costing, variance analysis, cycle counts and related controlsResponsible for monthly close including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance and preparing management and operational reportsResponsible for accounting support functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, intercompany, capital expenditure spending, fixed assets and other areasResponsible for budgeting, forecasting and related analysisIdentify and lead change management and reengineering projects to improve location accounting and analysisEnsure compliance with internal controls, safeguarding assets, documenting policies and proceduresSupport corporate and audit requirements including preparing audit schedules, analysis and other special requestsTrain and supervise staffInteract with peer controllers and corporate staff to share ideas and develop best practices across the organizationPerform special projects and other duties as requiredRequirements BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA / CMA / MBA usefulMinimum 7 years of relevant work experience, including controllership duties and cost accountingMinimum 5 years of supervisory experienceSkills:Self-starter with strong initiative and communication skillsTeam player, able to relate and interact with people at all levels in the CompanyDetail oriented with excellent technical and analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to achieve quality results in an efficient and timely mannerAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects, organizing, prioritizing and communicating effectivelyStrong ERP and computer skillsITAR Regulations require all candidates be a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.

    Physical RequirementsTypical office environment with occasional exposure to a light manufacturing environment.
