40 hours/pay

M-TH 3:00pm-7:30pm

F 7:00am-11:00am

Scheurer Health, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a Certified Phlebotomist to work in the Laboratory located in Bad Axe.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for drawing blood specimens from persons of all ages
• Sample processing, and supply re-stocking
• DOT urine drug screen collections
• Computer order entry, completing and distributing associated paperwork while ensuring timeliness and accuracy of information
• Transport specimens at the end of the evening to Scheurer Laboratory, Pigeon

Minimum Requirements:

• Complete an accredited phlebotomy education program
• Be eligible for the certification exam, and certify within one year of hire date if not already certified
• Valid Michigan Driver's License
• Must be able to work independently
