    We are seeking a Senior Construction Materials Technician to join our Lakewood, CO team Come join us

    Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    This position includes materials testing to determine the physical properties of highway construction materials, including: Aggregate and Asphalt Mixtures. Construction Materials Technicians will travel to construction sites and perform testing for producers, contractors, developers and/or owners for the materials they are using in their construction. Many of our projects are large highway paving or construction projects at remote locations which require the technician to stay out of town for the duration of the project, normally 4 to 8 weeks, returning each weekend.

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements:

  • A science background is preferred, or as a minimum good math skill.
  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • Certifications desired includes ACI Field 1, ACI Strength, CAPA A, B, C, and WAQTC.
  • Technical Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word will be helpful.
  • LabCAT is a plus, but training and certification enrollment provided.
  • Other miscellaneous qualities:

  • Ability to travel, up to 80%.
  • Compensation:

    $26 - $27 hourly

    The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
