- Monitor daily cash balances and reconcile discrepancies.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and analyze variances to ensure efficient cash management.
- Record and reconcile cash receipts and disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the tracking and reporting of expenses, ensuring proper coding and classification.
- Maintain and enforce internal controls related to cash handling and banking activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to cash transactions for management review.
- Assist auditors with inquiries and provide documentation as needed during financial audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with a focus on cash management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
