Job summary
This position is responsible for providing professional rehabilitation services to participants/students in various areas including intake and eligibility determination.
Responsibilities
- Conducts applicant interviews and reviews educational medical records to assess abilities and needsDetermine eligibility for services assigns disability priority categories ensures compliance with regulations agency policiesExplains participant rights responsibilities provides information regarding the Vocational Rehabilitation VR ProgramProvides Pre Employment Transition Services Pre ETS students disabilities ages - Participants in IEP person centered planning meetings collaborates local agencies develop work training opportunities studentsEnsures smooth transition of Pre ETS students general VR services prior age through coordinated handoff meetingsApplies ADRAN standard planned services documents determinations appropriatelyAuthorizes monitors tracks case expenditures ongoing services college tuition CRP supportsMaintains complete accurate confidential case records documenting participant information service counseling activitiesIdentifies coordinates necessary medical psychological academic vocational assessments development Individualized Plans Employment IPEsUses State financial calculator determine participant financial participation requirementsProvides professional counseling guidance assist participants vocational personal psychological adjustments throughout rehabilitation processEvaluates participant progress modifies IPEs when necessary ensures continuous engagement progress toward employment goalsCollaborates employers address barriers employment e g accessibility scheduling transportation ensures appropriate job matching based on participant abilities labor market needsWorks collaboratively Business Services Specialists engage employers understand local labor market trendsRepresents VR program acts liaison public private entitiesParticipates authorized events initiatives focused improving systems individuals disabilities IdahoPerforms other duties assigned
