    Assistant Office Engineer
    Job Summary: We have an immediate need for an Assistant Office Engineer to support a highway project in Syracuse, NY.

    Responsibilities:
    • Monitor and track project schedule and budget.
    • Interface with municipal clients and contractors.
    • Coordinate and track all project plans and drawings.
    • Assist Resident Engineer with change orders, RFIs, submittals, and response letters to the contractors.
    • Prepare and maintain project records including weekly and monthly project status reports.
    • Attend Construction progress meetings and create minutes of the meeting.


    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college.
    • Three years of experience in construction inspection or management of infrastructure construction projects (highway/sewer/water).
    • Analyzing data and preparing reports.
    • Strong computer skills including knowledge of MS Office applications.
    • Knowledge of construction management software a plus.
    • Knowledge with NYSDOTs Site Manager software.
    • The ability to multi-task, handling numerous concurrent requests.
    • The ability to work as a team player.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
