We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team.We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing wire rope products for sale by cutting them to specific sizes and ensuring they are properly finished with crimping and swaging.
Responsibilities
- Cutting cable: Measure and mark wire rope according to specifications provided. Safely operate cutting equipment, such as shears or saws, to cut wire rope to the required lengths.
- Swagging end fitting (press): Utilize specialized machinery and tools to crimp and swage wire rope ends, ensuring they are securely fastened and in compliance with industry standards.
- Splicing cable & rope: Perform mechanical and hand splicing on wire and synthetic rope assemblies.
