We are looking for a full time Veterinary Medical Director to join our team in Fairfield, CT. The ideal candidate will have a DVM, be proficient in veterinary medicine, and have experience as an Associate Veterinarian.

The Veterinary Medical Director will be responsible for the overall management of the veterinary clinic, including patient care, staff management, and financial oversight. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities of the Veterinary Medical Director include:

• Overseeing all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery
• Managing the staff, including hiring, firing, and training
• Overseeing the financial operations of the clinic, including budgeting and financial reporting
• Developing and implementing marketing and outreach programs
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications for the Veterinary Medical Director position include:

• DVM from an accredited veterinary school
• At least 5 years of experience as an Associate Veterinarian
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care
