    Previous generations have already asked the question of whether or not historic preservation is important. The answer is YES. We don't need to reinvent the wheel, just carry the torch to the next generation.


    This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fascinating world of historic preservation, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to specialize in the marketing and sale of historic properties.

    Through interactive modules, you will gain a deep understanding of:


    • The history and evolution of preservation in the United States.

    Lindsey Moore's real estate career brings together a passion for southern hospitality with professional experience in historic preservation as well as residential and community design.

    She is a graduate of the College of Charleston and holds a Masters degree in Architectural History from the University of Virginia.

    Prior to becoming a REALTOR, she was the Executive Director of the South Carolina Design Arts Partnership, which sponsored the
    SCMayor's Institute for Community Design, spearheaded by Clemson University and the South Carolina Arts Commission.

    She also has experience working in various capacities for the
    SCState Historic Preservation Office, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Preservation Society of Charleston, and was the statewide volunteer coordinator in 2008 for the American Institute of Architects 150th Anniversary celebration in South Carolina.

    In her free time, Lindsey enjoys going to the beach, exploring art and antique shops in out-of-the-way places with her husband, David, and classically homeschooling her two boys, Hampton & Asher.
