    Northeast Kingdom Human Services has an opening for an IDDS Team Leader in St Johnsbury. The Team Leader will provide the management and leadership to support staff and consumers. AN exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role and work with a larger team of professionals.

    NKHS is a Designated Agency contracted with the State of Vermont to provide the highest quality of service in the areas of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, children and youth with serious emotional disabilities, and adults with mental health and substance use challenges.

    We serve the populations of Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties through a wide variety of targeted programs for individuals of all ages.

    NKHS has over 450 employees providing case management, community and home supports, residential care, psychiatry, medication management, therapy, vocational supports, school based counseling, emergency care, and respite services.

    These services are provided annually to nearly 4,000 of our local community members, helping them overcome challenges and achieve health in mind, body, and spirit.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SUMMARY

    The IDDS Team Leader will support and assist the individuals receiving IDD services and their staff to follow the Individual Support Agreements (ISA) goals and objectives.

    These services may happen in the individual's home, place of employment, community and/or other environments. All services will be provided in a respectful manner and follow the Home and Community Based Rules, DD Act, and NKHS IDDS philosophy
    Supervisory Responsibilities
    Supervision of IDDS Service Coordinators, DSPs, or residential staff as assigned.
    Oversees the scheduling and daily workflow for assigned direct reports.
    Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations to direct reports.
    Handles hiring, discipline, and termination of direct reports in accordance with organizational policy.
    Essential Tasks/Functions/Responsibilities
    Supervise assigned IDDS employees.
    Provide, coordinate, mentor and document employees' pre-service, in-service and on-going trainings.
    Service Coordination
    Manage on-going crisis in the areas of assigned responsibility.
    Manage individual budgets and cost center budgets

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
    Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) certification.
    Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities/or autism.
    Supervisory experience preferred.

    $47,590 plus based on education and experience.
