    Special Education Teacher (Elementary Resource)
    We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Tempe, AZ.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to elementary students with diverse learning needs in a resource setting.

    As a Special Education Teacher, you will collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement specialized instruction plans based on students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
    • Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in inclusive classroom settings.
    • Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate individual learning styles and needs.
    • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
    • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote an inclusive learning environment.
    • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and instructional goals.
    • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of student achievement and progress.

    Requirements:

    • Active Arizona Special Education (SPED) teaching license.
    • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Experience working with elementary students with diverse learning needs.
    • Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Commitment to meeting the individual needs of each student.
