Job Summary:
The housekeeper performs a variety of tasks alone or with coworkers. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload, covering absences and vacations, and supplementing crews to meet needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Must be able to work with and oversee student workers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Cleans and disinfects classrooms, and Hallways.
Vacuums, sweeps and mops floors, carpets, and rugs.
Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops.
Replenishes toiletries and towels.
Empties trash receptacles.
Cleans windows and entryways.
Reports any building maintenance issues to the Director or Assistant Director of Plant Operations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions and complete assignments.
Ability to work in a variety of situations.
Organizational and time management skills.

Education and Experience:

Previous experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be able to climb step ladders, bend, kneel, and crouch.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
