AdventHealth East Orlando & AHMG are in search of dynamic and energetic Critical Care Physicians to join their team at AdventHealth East Orlando.
These positions are a result of programmatic and companywide growth to establish high-quality Critical Care services in the Central Florida Region. The ideal candidate should have experience or be comfortable working in Medical and Surgical ICU settings, preferably at night. The practice is affiliated with AHMG Critical Care Specialists of Central Florida, an intensive care team with over 100 employed providers, serving over 10 AdventHealth campuses in Central and North Florida, catering to more than 18,000 critically ill patients annually.
Requirements:
Physicians must be board certified/eligible in Critical Care Medicine. Group is open to various specialties including Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Pulmonology, or Internal Medicine.
AdventHealth, the largest health care system in Central Florida, operates 10 hospital campuses in the Greater Orlando area.
Practice Description:
This employment opportunity includes call coverage benefits and competitive compensation. Hospital Description:
AdventHealth East Orlando, a 295-bed community hospital, serves around 180,000 patients annually, including 16,500 inpatients and 79,330 outpatients. The hospital had over 130,000 emergency visits in 2018.
Situated in a rapidly growing area of Central Florida, the hospital caters to the east Orange County population, including Waterford Lakes, Avalon Park, Lake Nona, and University of Central Florida areas.
AdventHealth East Orlando's specialized services comprise Cardiovascular Institute, Cancer Institute, Orthopedic Institute, Respiratory Care, Family Care Center, Radiology, Sports Medicine, Men's and Women's Health Programs, Women's Health Pavilion, Hospice Care, Seizure Monitoring, Telemedicine Program, Digestive Health Services, Stroke Center, and Sleep Disorders Center.
