Material Handler - Arden -1st Shift - Up to $17/hrPrideStaff is recruiting for a Material Handler for 1st shift for a Manufacturing Company located in Arden

Job Summary:
Responsible for receiving, distributing and storing products as directed in designated locations

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent informationReviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracyConfirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process scheduleTransports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).

When problems arise, resolves issues with contractors or vendorsValidates, approves, and forwards invoices to accounting departmentCollects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environmentQualifications and Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of two (2) years material handling experienceMath and written communicationEfficient time management skillsProficient experience in Lean ManufacturingComputer skills (e.g.

, SAP, Excel, including MS Office)

Excellent verbal communication skillsHours of Work:6:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday

FridayCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $ $17.
