*Local Pay Rate - $23 - $26/hr**Travel Pay rate - $25 - $29/hr*Job Title - Medical Assistant

Location - Robbinsdale, MN

Duration - 13 weeks with possible extension

Shift - Monday - Friday: 7:30a-4:30p (40 Hour Guarantee)

Start date - ASAP or within 2-3 weeks

*Clinic Responsibilities of Medical Assistant

• Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of patient flow throughout clinic
• Standard rooming processes
• Giving medications as directed by provider (medications are minimal in cardiology and no immunizations/injections are given)
• Provide telephone support
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers
• Assist with medication refills
• Perform phlebotomy duties (training can be provided)
• Stocking supplies/rooms
• Perform EKGs

*SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANT

• A minimum of 1-year experience in a patient-care setting - Required _Previous Clinic Work - Highly Preferred_

* _EKG Experience - Preferred_
* _EHR Experience - Preferred_
* _Blood Draw Experience - Preferred_

• Medical Assistant Diploma - Required MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES
• BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required#TeamB
