    Part-time or Full-Time Hourly Position ranging from $10.50-$11.50 hourly + tips with benefits. Located in Albuquerque, NM. Working out of our Garduno's Restaurant in Hotel Albuquerque of Old Town.

    Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:

    • Work under direction of Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.
    • Communicate daily with Kitchen leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe.
    • Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
    • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
    • Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of dining area.
    • Maintain table settings by removing courses, replenishing utensils, and being alert to beverage needs.
    • Prepare dining outlets for service, checking service stations and tables to ensure correct set-up and cleanliness.
    • Resolve issues for any approaching guests in a professional and timely manner.
    • Answer the phone and assist with guest seating, serving food or (non-alcoholic) drinks as requested.
    • Handle all checks and cash according to procedures stipulated.
    • Roll silverware, set up food stations or dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties.
    • Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property.

    HC5 Requirements:

    • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification required.
    • Ability to work on your feet in humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more.
    • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
    • Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
    • 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume and/or fine dining experience preferred.
    • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
