    YOUR TEAM

    Nuna Engineering builds technology to enable users (from data scientists to analysts to policy-makers) to understand healthcare data while ensuring its integrity, security and privacy. Our work runs the gamut from joining streams of messy real-world data to building queryable data warehouses to constructing visualizations and dashboards that provide actionable insight. We build systems that are auditable, as automated as possible, an accurate representation of the underlying data, and, most importantly, responsive to our end users' needs. We strive for a creative, collaborative engineering environment that implements best practices of peer review, readability, maintainability, and security of the code base and infrastructure.

    As one of the first engineers on the Rewards team, you will be crafting an innovative new mobile experience that will redefine the boundaries of health and wellness. You will leverage the latest AI advancements and gain a profound understanding of the intricacies of the US health system.     YOUR OPPORTUNITIES

    • Be one of the first engineers to build a new exciting product here at Nuna
    • Work closely with our Product and Design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for the iOS platform
    • Leverage and expand frontend skills - Swift, iOS frameworks, React-native
    • Develop product that will have meaningful, positive impact on people's health journeys

    QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications

    • Ability to own the technical vision and 1-2 year plan for the team
    • Ability to make business decision tradeoffs and prioritize the team roadmap
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with Product and Design
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
    • 8+ years of total experience in software development
    • 5+ years of object-oriented software development experience
    • 2+ years experience building complex applications for iOS and Android using Flutter
    • Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
    • Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Architected a Flutter application with 100k+ users
    • Backend experience in Kotlin
    • Devops experience in Terraform

    We take into account an individual's qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company's equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $188,000 to $230,750. The actual offer will be at the company's sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate's qualifications, years of experience, and skillset.
